Anaheim Public Works lists a Parking Variance as a request for temporary parking or no parking for construction and other activities, handled by Traffic Engineering. The application states that you must submit the request five business days before the event, and that a granted variance makes the applicant responsible for covering the affected parking-restriction signs during the period, uncovering them afterwards, and coning off the designated area. The code basis is AMC 14.32.010.
Most Anaheim moves do not need one.
