A furniture move starts with a free quote: which pieces, which floors, what access at both ends. From there the crew arrives with the truck, wraps each piece where it stands, and loads with ramps and straps.
At the destination the order reverses. Pieces come off padded, land in the rooms you point to, and the wrap comes off last so corners stay covered through the doorway.
Disassembly and Reassembly
Disassembly and reassembly come with the job whenever a piece needs it. Bed frames, dining tables, wall units and desks come apart at your old place and go back together at the new one.
Hardware goes into a bag taped to the piece it came from. Tell us about anything tricky at quote time, so the crew shows up with the right tools and enough hands.
What Furniture Moving Costs
Furniture moving costs follow the clock, not a per-piece menu. Crew size times hours sets the number, at a rate you approve before anyone lifts a thing.
The structure is open: hourly and quote-first, a baseline crew of 2 movers with a 24-ft truck, $40 per hour for each extra mover, and California Double Drive Time on moves over 10 miles, which is state law. The free estimate is the cap; the final bill cannot pass it.
